  The a.r.k.

  I watched Evan Almighty yesterday, and I have to say that it was one of the best movies I have seen in quite awhile. We took the Day Camp kids to see it, and we were pleasantly surprised at how much even they liked the movie.

  I was really amazed at how not-wrong the theology was in the movie. I don't usually watch the "Christian" movies, because they're usually corny and often badly made, not to mention badly theologized. But this one was different.

  The best part of this movie was the message about how to change the world. I love the message of challenging one problem at a time through one act of random kindness at a time. There are just some amazing thoughts and amazing lines in that movie. It makes me really want to see it again.

  It also made me wonder, what is my ark? What is the thing I'm supposed to do to change the world? I think, in all of us, theres probably a desire to make a difference, to do something that changes the world for the better. To have an ark. It sure would be nice to have Morgan Freeman stop by and let me know.
